Well, no simple solution for it, first of all, reduce your stress by yoga or meditation.

There is a Australian study on using honey (antibiotic factor) to suspress the bacteria in the peptic area, which caused ulcer. (otherwise, doctor may prescribe antibiotic for it)

One of the friend got peptic ulcer(high stress), even vomit with blood, and was sent to ER one time, he took Reishi extract for about 5 months, and his ulcer was totally cured.(4 years since) again, get rid off the cause - stress remain the most critical factor, for the healing.

You can try mixing a little slippery elm bark in water several times a day. It appears that it has the ability to help coat and heal the ulcer.

Yes, and just raw cabbage juice as well. There is a special preparation of licorice called "DGL" in natural food stores which is especially effective. Gamma-oryzanol from rice bran is a a helpful supplement, and also tea made from marshmallow and slippery elm.

Slippery Elm Bark is excellent, it produces a mucilage which sooths the whole intestinal tract. Powder is best - mix it with mashed banana to make it pleasnat to take.

My husband and mother-in-law both have gotten great relief from their ulcers by taking cayenne powder (2tsp)in a 20 oz glass of juice. Theresults are instantly felt and long lasting. It burns the tongue of course (or at least it convices your pain receptors that your tongue is on fire)but that doesn't last long and is usually overshadowed by the great relief felt.

First of all, we need to deal with your stress. Some good herbs for stress include skunk cabbage, excellent for embattled nerves and valerian root, hops, skull cap, licorice root (if not hypoglycemic (high blood pressure)), and of course it is best to take a combination.

For the ulcer itself: whole leaf aloe, taken internally. Not all whole leaf aloe is the same. Look for one with a high concentration of muco-polysaccharides such as that from Good Herbs. If that is not availables Coats is also good.
