Subject: Re: African Blue Basil what is it?

African Blue Basil is Ocimum 'African Blue' (O. kilimanscharium x O. basilicum purpurescens) Annual, 3', Full Sun, Ornamental, Aromatic, and Culinary uses. A midwife from England told me it is used there as a poultice for chicken pox and as a tea given to those with chicken pox. Seems to have too much of a camphor presence to be of value in cooking.
