Quick fix: nausea

Problems:

The best herb for nausea is ...

... ginger (Zingiber officinale). And while you can use the fresh sliced-up root, things like candied dried sliced ginger, ginger ale, ginger candy, ginger tea, and ginger capsules are a bit more effective.

If ginger isn't your cup of tea you can try thyme (Thymus vulgaris) as well - it's not quite as effective, but it works on most nauseas. Use it as a tea, and make it weak enough - dried thyme is very strong. I use 1/4 teasp. to 2 dl boiling water, and I don't let it steep all that long.

And of course, chewing on a piece of angelica or calamus root might help things, as might chewing on the seeds of caraway, aniseed, fennel, dill, and coriander.
