|Chloroform, a sufficient quantity.|
|Yellow Beeswax||50.00|||||8 ounces|

Dissolve the cantharidin in about ten times its weight of chloroform by the aid of heat, add the solution to the yellow beeswax and wool fat, previously melted together on a water-bath, and stir until the chloroform is dissipated.
