Pack tightly in a closed vessel, macerate for three days, express forcibly, and reserve the product. Add to the marc sufficient of the same menstruum to produce altogether 100 (20 fluid ounces) of product. Express again after twenty-four hours' maceration, and mix the product with the reserved portion. When cold, add menstruum, if necessary, to make the liquid extract measure 100 (20 fluid ounces), and filter.
