Dry Extract of Euonymus 7.32 | 1 oz. 202 ½ gr.
Oil of Coriander 0.52 | 50 minims
Alcohol (45 per cent.) to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Rub the extract with 50 (10 fluid ounces) of the alcohol in a mortar, filter; dissolve the oil of coriander in the filtrate, and pass sufficient of the alcohol through the filter to produce the required volume.

Dose.—1 to 2 mils (15 to 30 minims).

SOLUTION OF EUONYMIN AND CASCARA.

Dry Extract of Euonymus 3.65 | 320 grains
Alcohol (45 per cent.) 25.00 | 5 fl. ounces
Miscible Liquid Extract of Cascara to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Rub the extract of euonymus with the alcohol in a mortar, filter; and add sufficient miscible liquid extract of cascara to make Up to the required volume.

Dose.—2 to 4 mils (½ to 1 fluid drachm).

SOLUTION OF EUONYMIN AND IRIDIN.

Extract of Iris 1.83 | 160 grains
Potassium Carbonate 1.36 | 120 grains
Distilled Water 25.00 | 5 fl. ounces
Alcohol (45 per cent.) to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Rub the extracts with 50 (10 fluid ounces) of the alcohol in a mortar, filter; to the filtrate add the potassium carbonate previously dissolved in the distilled water, and pass sufficient of the alcohol through the filter to produce the required volume.

Dose.—2 to 4 mils (½ to 1 fluid drachm).


LIQUOR EUONYMINI ET PEPSINI, B.P.C.
SOLUTION OF EUONYMIN AND PEPSIN.

Dry Extract of Euonymus 1.83 | 160 grains
Pepsin 3.65 | 320 grains
Diluted Hydrochloric Acid 3.65 | 350 minims
Alcohol (45 per cent.) 30.00 | 6 fl. ounces
Chloroform Water to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Dissolve the pepsin in the diluted hydrochloric acid mixed with So (Do fluid ounces) of the chloroform water; rub the extract of euonymus with the alcohol, and filter into the. pepsin solution, passing sufficient chloroform water through the filter to make up to the required volume.

Dose.—2 to 4 mils (½ to 1 fluid drachm).
