Hemidesmus Root, bruised	10.00	\|	2 ounces
Distilled Water ...	to 100.00	\|	to 20 fl. ounces

Add the bruised root to 120 (24 fluid ounces) of distilled water, and boil for ten minutes, strain, and make up to the required volume, if necessary, by passing distilled water through the strainer.
Dose.—15 to 60 mils (½ to 2 fluid ounces).
