Castor Oil 20.00 | 4 fl. ounces
Almond Oil to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Dissolve the phenol in the mixed oils.

This oil is used to lubricate catheters.


OLEUM RICINI AROMATICUM, B.P.C.
AROMATIC CASTOR OIL.

Amyl Acetate 0.10 | 10 minims
Gluside 0.23 | 20 grains
Absolute Alcohol 5.00 | 1 fl. ounce
Castor Oil to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Mix the amyl acetate and the gluside with the alcohol, and set aside until a clear solution is obtained, then add the castor oil. This preparation should be stored in filled and well-closed bottles.

Dose.—4 to 30 mils (I to 8 fluid drachms).
