Glyceritum Quininae Sulphas.—Glycerite of Quinine Sulphate.

SYNONYMS: Glycerinum quininae sulphas, Glycerin of sulphate of quinine, Glycerole of quinine.
Preparation.—Take, of sulphate of quinine, 24 grains; glycerin, 2 fluid ounces. Triturate the quinine with the glycerin, in a glass mortar, until it is dissolved, and transfer to a vial.
Action and Medical Uses.—This forms an elegant preparation, containing 1 1/2 grains of sulphate of quinine to the fluid drachm. It may be used both internally and externally in all cases where quinine is indicated.
