Phaselin. Dilkas mexicana.

Phaselin.—This substance is represented as the active constituent of the bean of Dilkas Mexicano (can't find such a plant. -Henriette), a South American plant. It is used similarly to papain as a digestive in doses of eight to fifteen grains (0.5-1.0 Gm.).
