> I am having a terrible time getting my parsley to germinate. All of my other seeds germinated without any problem. About how long does it take parsley to germinate? I have a constant temperature of 65 degrees and the soil has stayed moist.

Parsley is difficult to germinate. You can soak the seeds for several hours in water before planting to soften the outer shell or you can place 2-3 seeds in each cube section of an ice tray, fill the tray with water, freeze and then plant the ice cubes. I have used the later suggestion and it works well. Of course, you have to put up with neighbors who think you are crazy. I always tell them that I am planting water to insure an adequate supply of moisture for the rest of the garden.

You can plant okra via seeds in the ice cube, too. It's a great idea.
