White flower.

Blog categories:

It's fairly large and I have no idea what it is.

Here's photos:
Photo: Diphylleia cymosa 1. Pic: Flower cluster, white.

It has large palmate leaves on single stems all growing up from the root, and white flowers in clusters. It's about 1 m (3') tall.

I have no idea what it is; it was labelled "Glaucidium palmatum" in the botanical garden of Gothenburg, but it's completely different from that plant.

Any of you have a clue?

Update: it's Diphylleia cymosa.

Hi, Dear Henriette,

I think this plant is a Diphylleia
and probably Diphylleia cymosa

You found your Magnolias pictures yet?

Jan

Diphylleia: Ooh. Lovely, thanks!

Magnolias:
Sorry, I'm moving, the Magnolia pics are buried somewhere in a box. It'll be a week or two more - I'll let you know when I've scanned them.
