Ammonium Carbonate 0.23 | 20 grains
Borax 0.45 | 40 grains
Tincture of Squill 5.00 | 1 fl. ounce
Spirit of Anise 5.00 | 1 fl. ounce
Emulsion of Chloroform 5.00 | 1 fl. ounce
Mucilage of Gum Acacia 50.00 | 10 fl. ounces
Distilled Water to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Dissolve the salts in 25 (5 fluid ounces) of the water, add the mucilage and then the remainder of the ingredients, shake well and make up to the required volume with the distilled water.

Dose.—2 to 4 mils (½ to 1 fluid drachm).
