Hyoscine Hydrobromide 0.057 | 1 ¼ grains
Cocaine Hydrochloride 0.913 | 20 grains
Atropine Sulphate 0.114 | 2 ½ grains
Sodium Nitrite 12.50 | 273 grains
Glycerin 25.00 | 1 ¼ fl. ounces
Liquid Extract of Liquorice, a sufficient quantity.
Compound Solution of Thymol to 100.00 | to 5 fl ounces

Dissolve the salts in 60 (3 fluid ounces) of the compound solution of thymol; then add the glycerin and liquid extract of liquorice, and make up to the required volume. The liquid should be sherry coloured. It is sometimes required without the sodium nitrite (Nebula Hyoscinae Composita sine Sodii Nitrite).
