Synonym.—Linctus Morphinae Acidus.
|Solution of Morphine Hydrochloride||5.00|||||1 fl. ounce|
|Emulsion of Chloroform||5.00|||||1 fl. ounce|
|Lemon juice||25.00|||||5 fl. ounces|
|Glycerin||to 100.00|||||to 20 fl. ounces|
Mix the liquids. This linctus contains about 1/32 grain of morphine hydrochloride in 1 fluid drachm.
Dose.—2 to 4 mils (1/2 to 1 fluid drachm).
