Cataplasma Sinapis, B.P.C. Mustard Poultice.

|Crushed Linseed||28.00|||||4 ounces|
|Mustard, in powder||2.00|||||125 grains|
|Water||70.00|||||10 fl . ounces|
Add the linseed gradually to about 70 (10 fluid ounces) of boiling water; then add the mustard, previously rubbed to a smooth paste with a little cold or tepid water. The mustard paste may be spread on the surface of the linseed poultice if stronger action be desired.
