Agelaea. Agelaea Lamarckii Planch.—Under the name of Cephan-Mahi, Soandrou, Vahe-mainti, this African plant is used as an anti-blenorrhagic. According to Rochebrune (Toxicologie Africaine), it contains a poisonous glucoside, agelaetoxine.
