Quinine cacodylate, C20H24N2O2(CH3)2AsOOH, may be prepared by the interaction of cacodylic acid and quinine, or of suitable salts of these substances. It occurs in the form of acicular crystals, or as a white powder.

Very soluble in water, less soluble in hot water; freely soluble in alcohol.

Action and Uses.—Quinine cacodylate is given with the cacodylates of iron and sodium, in pill form or in solution.

Dose.—15 to 60 milligrams (1/4 to 1 grain).
