Dissolve the quinine hydrochloride in the distilled water with the aid of gentle heat, add the solution of strychnine hydrochloride and make up to the required volume with liquid extract of malt. This preparation contains 1/8 grain of quinine hydrochloride, and 1/180 grain of strychnine hydrochloride in 1 fluid drachm.
Dose.—4 to 15 mils (1 to 4 fluid drachms).
