Cantharidin 0.20 | 14 grains
Chloroform, a sufficient quantity.
Yellow Beeswax 50.00 | 8 ounces
Wool Fat 50.00 | 8 ounces

Dissolve the cantharidin in about ten times its weight of chloroform by the aid of heat, add the solution to the yellow beeswax and wool fat, previously melted together on a water-bath, and stir until the chloroform is dissipated.
