Glycerinum Croci, B.P.C. Glycerin of Saffron.

|Alcohol (60 per cent.)||50.00|||||10 fl. ounces|
Mix the glycerin and the alcohol; then digest the saffron in the mixture for an hour at a gentle heat and filter. This preparation should be kept in well-stoppered bottles, filled so as to prevent access of air and consequent loss of colour by oxidation.
