Synonym.—Linseed Tea.

Linseed 3.50 | ½ oz. 50 gr.
Liquorice Root 1.14 | 100 grains
Distilled Water, boiling 100.00 | 20 fl. ounces

Infuse the drugs in the water for fifteen minutes, in a covered vessel, and strain.

Solid extract of liquorice is sometimes used, instead of liquorice root, for flavouring this infusion.

Dose.—30 to 120 mils (1 to 4 fluid drachms).
