Horehound, dried 42.50 | 8 ½ ounces
Acetic Acid 6.75 | 1 fl. oz 168 min.
Distilled Water, boiling, a sufficient quantity.
Clarified Honey to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Digest the horehound with sufficient boiling water to cover it, on a water-bath for one hour; then strain and press, evaporate on the water-bath to 50 (10 fluid ounces), Cool, when cold add the acetic acid and filter; make up to the required volume with the honey.

Dose.—2 to 4 mils (½ to 1 fluid drachm).
