Acetomorphine Hydrochloride 0.10 | 9 grains
Tincture of Hyoscyamus 7.50 | 1 ½ fl. ounces
Spirit of Chloroform 7.50 | 1 ½ fl. ounces
Syrup of Balsam of Tolu 15.00 | 3 fl. ounces
Syrup of Virginian Prune 15.00 | 3 fl. ounces
Glycerin to 100 | to 20 fl. ounces

Dissolve the acetomorphine hydrochloride in the tincture and spirit; mix with the syrups, and add sufficient glycerin to produce the required volume. This preparation contains about 1/18 grain of acetomorphine hydrochloride in 1 fluid drachm.

Dose.—2 to 8 mils (½ to 2 fluid drachms.)
