Synonym.—Infusion of Wild Cherry.

Virginian Prune Bark, in No. 20 powder 4.00 | 35 grains
Glycerin 5.00 | 1 fl. ounce
Distilled Water to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Moisten the powdered bark with 6 (1 fluid ounce 96 minims) of the water, set aside for one hour, then pack in a percolator, and percolate with more of the distilled water; collect the percolate in a vessel containing the glycerin, and continue percolation until the product measures 100 (20 fluid ounces).

Dose.—30 to 60 mils (1 to 2 fluid ounces).
