Alcohol 10.00 | 2 ounces
Acetic Acid 17.50 | 3 ½ fl. ounces
Distilled Water ... to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Macerate the sabadilla with the alcohol, acetic acid, and 70 (14 fluid ounces) of distilled water for seven days, in a closed vessel; then strain, press the marc, mix the liquids, filter, and make up to the required volume with distilled water.
