Bryonia.

This remedy is extensively employed by the Homoeopaths; and, as I think, greatly overestimated. They use it in rheumatism, pneumonia, and other diseases of the chest; in typhoid fever, and many other affections. It may be recommended for investigation—Rx Tincture of Bryonia, ʒss.; Water, ℥iv.; a teaspoonful every one or two hours.
