Parietaria. Parietaria officinalis L. Wall Pellitory. Parietaire, Perce-muraille, Fr. Glaskraut, G. (Fam. Urticaceae.) —A perennial European herb, growing on old walls and heaps of rubbish. It is diuretic and refrigerant, and was formerly used in urinary complaints and dropsy, in the form of decoction or of the expressed juice.
