I've never heard anyone mention this problem before so thought I should bring it up.

Every time I try taking Ginko Biloba, I get a headache on the 2nd day by the afternoon. I have tried taking this about 5 times and always the same results.

My understanding is that Ginko Biloba increases blood flow to the brain which supposedly makes you more clear headed--or something like that. I happen to suffer from the kind of headaches that are benefited greatly by taking caffeine which restricts blood flow to the brain.

Does it make sense that I'm just one of those people that shouldn't take Ginko? Why haven't I heard anyone else ever mention this side effect? Any comments are welcome to this forum.

Susan

Susan,

I am a migraine sufferer, and I have noticed that I get a headache from Ginko, too. I guess we just can't take anything that dilates the cranial blood vessels.
