I have found that using a tea from fresh sage leaves works wonders in killing yeast infections. Use 2 or 3 leaves, pour boiling water over them (6-8 oz.) cover and let steep until cool, and soak the affected part for 15-20 minutes. Do this twice a day for 3 days and the mycosis should be dead.

You can also apply a paste made from plain yogurt; if you add a lactobacilis capsule you will up the count of beneficial bacteria by the tens of thousands. These are found in the refrigerated section of many health food stores. My doctor told me to take 6 capsules a day for 2 weeks and 4 capsules a day for an additional 2 weeks after a course of antibiotics in order to prevent yeast infections. How the bacteria manages to travel from the gut to other parts of the body is a mystery to me, but it works great. Good luck.
