Hi,

> I have been suffering from bladder infections(E.Coli) every few months for the past two years. I have given up caffeine, eat very little sugar, and drink lots of water and cranberry juice sweetened with fruit juice, but still have to resort to antibiotics to knock out these intense infections. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for prevention and alleviating these infections.

I, too suffered from bladder and kidney infections for several years running and went through the entire gammut of antibiotics (10 days on, 10 days off, more culture and sensitivity tests, etc) until my intestines were so raw and inflamed I had even more problems. In desparation I quit all the antibiotics and started drinking lots of cranberry juice, eating lots of watermelon (or drinking watermelon seed tea when the melons weren't in season), and drinking cornsilk tea. The infection went away (much to the surprise of my urologist!) and I did not have a recurrence for over 10 years. The last recurrence was almost a year ago and this time I took the cranberry fruit in capsule form and cornsilk and in no time once again I was infection free. I keep these two products on hand and at the first twinge I start them up again.

Good luck to you. By the way I took 3 cranberry fruit capsules with a large glass of water 3 times daily along with 2 cornsilk capsules with a large glass of water 3 times daily as well. It is important to always drink lots of water to keep your system well flushed.
