Try strong sage tea (Salvia officinalis). 1 to 1 ½ oz dried herb/per qt of water. Drink 4oz cups 4-6 times through the day 2 -3 days BEFORE and the days you wish to supress menstruation. Be prepared for dry mucus membranes : mouth, eyes, etc. and it helps to eat mucilagineous herbs/foods for a few days after discontinuing the sage tea. I've used it to supress menstruation during times of ceremony. Some women mix it with western sage or red alder bark also.
