A friend recommended the inside of a banana peel - and it works for my cats and dog. Shred 1 teaspoon worth per 10 lbs and mix with the food, or 'douse' in chicken gravy/tunafish water (:-)) twice a day for three-four days until worms stop showing.

It doesn't hurt the cats that I notice (their coats look better and they tend to be more "springy" during treatment), and the dog will eat it plain (but then, my dog will eat anything I do if given half the chance...)

As an aside, the "Natural Health Cat Care Manual" (author - Don Harper) *talks* about worms, but does not include any worming treatment other than hints on prevention.

Hope this works for you.
