The juice obtained from a mixture of 10 parts of red cherries and 1 part of black cherries.

Uses.—Cherry juice is employed as a flavouring and colouring agent, and in the preparation of syrup of cherries.

PREPARATION.

Syrupus Cerasi, B.P.C.—SYRUP OF CHERRY.
Refined sugar, 60; cherry juice, by weight, to 100. Dose.—2 to 4 mils (½ to 1 fluid drachm).
