Gout can be treated with garlic (suprise?) Gout is a form of arthritis
when uric acid which is found in meats and other foods and also produced in the body. When it is out of balance there is inadequate elimination of uric acid and gout occurs.Uric acid occurs from enzyme defects, metabolic defects, chronic anemia, kidney disease and other complex conditions. Stay off meats and alcohol. Find a good health professional for a good diet, detoxification and stress reduction. Hormone supplementatioin may be needed. Chiropractic, acupuncture and Ayurvedic medicine can help. According to Dr. Braly cut down on fatty meats, eggs, margarine, shortening, and dairy products, also caffine, alcohol, sugar, tobacco and get tested for food allergies.

Dr. Robert Bingham says potatoes, peppers, egg plant, tomatoes should be eliminated.

Looks like a lot of work, but gout could become more serious. It ain't simple.

The BEST, and easiest thing to do for gout is to eat cherries. Fresh cherries are of course best but canned ones can be used in a pinch. The gout should be gone within 48 hours. Good luck.

Its true. I have gout and cherries HELP. They don't however totally resolve the problem. Its the flavones in the rich red pigment which does the trick. There are also some cherry concentrates which make yummy juice.

Folic acid combined with the herb plantain is most effective i have used it in my practice for 20 years.
