Taken regularly, honey and apple cider vinegar in a half glass of warm water has a number of health benefits. It is often used for arthritis, weight loss and general health and well being. It is one of those remedies that has been around for years and many people swear by.

It is fairly cheap, so it is worth giving a try and seeing if it is of any benefit to you. Make sure you buy an Apple Cider Vinegar with "the mother" in it, and not one prodused for making salad dressings. A well stocked health food store should be able to help.

My wifes uncle was an old bushman and introduced me to honey and vinegar many years ago for a persistant cough. He used to put a couple of spoons of honey in a glass and then add vinegar and stir until it was miscible and flowed freely. Then sip when necessary - I used to make up a bottle of this and take to work to relieve the cough and it is cheap. It basically is a form of linctus - I actually enjoy the taste as well.
