Synonym.—Mistura Sennae Composita sine Ammonia.

Senna 6.00 | 1 oz. 87 ½ gr.
Manna 12.00 | 2 oz. 175 gr.
Magnesium Sulphate 12.00 | 2 oz. 175 gr.
Fennel Fruit, bruised 2.00 | 175 grains
Distilled Water to 100.00 | to 20 fl. ounces

Infuse the senna, manna, and fennel fruit in 80 (16 fluid ounces) of boiling distilled water for half an hour; then strain with expression, dissolve the magnesium sulphate in the liquid, again strain, and make up to the required volume with cold distilled water.

Dose.—60 to 120 Mils (2 to 4 fluid ounces).
